There aren't just great songs (especially the make-out anthem Hush) and solid performances, but also strong character and this definitely adds to the overall experience. Perhaps this writer is shooting his load by calling them “the best band in the city”, but I am genuinely starting to believe it. The enthusiasm here is infectious. It’s clear that George Clinton‘s P. Funk collective is the blueprint for the group, but they manage to avoid being a carbon copy. The Funk is alive and well and living in Liverpool. Their live performances are amazing, their recordings have so far been great and I can’t wait to see where they go.
